We understand that the childhood years can be difficult to navigate – we’re here to help! Did you know that working with children is a specialty and requires specific training? Children aren’t little adults and that’s why each of our staff completes specialized training for working with children and has expanded skills for evaluating a child’s development, behaviour, and factors that might be contributing to the reason for referral. Your child and family deserves to have an individualized plan that is grounded in research and tailored to each child’s unique needs. We’re here to help and offer child psychology services in the Calgary area (and beyond!) to address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, ADHD, learning difficulties, and more.
We also recognize the vital role that parents and families play in working with children and families. Our services naturally extend to working with adults; we offer parenting support and counseling as well as comprehensive assessments for conditions such as ADHD, learning disabilities, and Autism. Additionally, we also offer services for youth transitioning to adulthood who may need assessments for post-secondary, AISH and PDD, as well as capacity assessments.

Our gifted assessments evaluate cognitive abilities (IQ), to help families and schools better support high-performing learners. This type of assessment can be used to apply to specialized programs for gifted students.
Psychoeducational assessment can help to understand how a person learns (their cognitive profile), where their academic skills are at compared to their peers, and other factors that could be impacting them such as attention, anxiety, or social skills challenges. With this information, tailored recommendations are offered to support the person at home, at school, and in the community.
We offer capacity assessments to evaluate an individual’s ability to make informed personal, financial, or legal decisions, often required for guardianship or legal matters.
Our autism assessments provide diagnostic clarity by evaluating communication, sensory, and behavioral patterns to see if the child is meeting criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
