Chris is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Behavioural Sciences at Ambrose University where he discovered his passion for psychology and the stories that children and adults live each day.
He recently completed his Master’s of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary. Chris provides both formal assessment and counselling services at RMPS.
Chris has over 9 years of experience working work children, youth, and their families in educational, residential, and community-based settings. He specializes in assessment, including psychoeducational, social-emotional-behavioural, and ADHD assessment.
In his practise Chris utilizes a strength-based approach and is interested in Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, as well as mindfulness and play-based techniques. Chris recently became a father and works hard to create a sense of trust and safety in the vulnerable spaces that he occupies with clients.
